Dr. Simarpreet Sandhu

Dr. Simarpreet Sandhu brings extensive experience in oral diagnosis, preventive care, interdisciplinary planning and patient-centered dentistry. Her clinical strength lies in understanding the bigger picture of oral health and helping guide patients toward the most suitable treatment pathway. With a strong background in oral pathology and preventive dentistry, she plays an important role in early detection, oral health evaluation,- and comprehensive planning for restorative, implant, cosmetic and full-mouth rehabilitation cases. Her approach emphasizes clarity, prevention, careful evaluation and thoughtful coordination across specialties.

Professional Achievements

Dr. Simarpreet founded Punjab's only postgraduate program in Oral Pathology at Genesis Institute, Ferozepur. She served as Secretary-General of the Asian Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologists (2019-2025) and holds the distinction of Fellowship with the Indian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologists. She was awarded the Dr. R.M. Mathur Award (2012) for the best publication by IAOMP and continues to be recognized as a prolific academic with over 60 peer-reviewed publications and 6 textbook contributions.

Her expertise spans advanced diagnostics, oral health education, and evidence-based patient care. Her commitment to public health includes anti-tobacco awareness initiatives and leadership in the National Oral Cancer Registry as Zonal Coordinator (North Zone). As Managing Director of OT Transformative Foundation, she drives grassroots initiatives in rural health, women's empowerment, and community education aligned with the Sikh principle of "ਨਿਓਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਓਟ."
